Received a Promise from God? What Next?

Welcome to the season of Dominion, Grace, and Blessings.

What has the Lord been speaking to you lately? What promises and prophesies have you received that are still unfulfilled and you have put them in the back burner? This season, it’s time to revive them and claim them in Jesus’ Name.

For Me, this season has been a season of Dominion. The Lord has been teaching me to be patient as well as to storm the heaven, to be a carrier of peace and diligently follow the instructions of the Lord. The verse that has been with me throughout this season is Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) – Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; 1In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

A little background….there were a lot of things going on in my life. Though I was convinced in Spirit that Prophet Shyju and Prophetess Tiny were appointed by God as my spiritual covering, there were voices that told me “they don’t even know your name.” One after the other, things started spiralling down. I had to leave my job, which caused so much anxiety in me. Due to which, my health was deteriorating and I was in constant agony.

But then, I heard My Spiritual Father’s teaching about Faith, Trust, and claiming the promises of God. He started speaking blessings over me, which caused me to look into my life, find the areas where I had not put complete trust on God and work on those areas. This helped me to renew my faith and passion. I came out of my anxiety and fear by trusting God to do the best for me. (Romans 8:28). I developed the ability to see the big picture, and to consider things from God’s perspective. I had dreamed of starting my own company. After receiving instructions, I put my trust on God and started my own company. However, because my business was not growing, this choice was proving to be exceedingly challenging. One day, in the midst of all this commotion and stress, I unexpectedly had a one-on-one conversation with My Father, Prophet Shyju Mathew. He addressed all of my concerns directly in Spirit and also gave me directions on what I needed to do. Oh, what a blessed time! The Lord does things perfectly in His time!!

This conversation woke me up, to take the needed actions. Just like my Father instructed, I needed to put a system which will help me to control my emotions and anxieties, say no to the devil, and put my faith in God’s Promises and in the spoken and written Word of God. Time and again when things went wrong, the Lord reminded me of His promises just like He reminded the people of Israel. The Lord is also teaching me to prepare for rain throughout this season. When you receive a promise (a seed) via faith, you must prepare your ground, get the field ready, as well as gather any necessary tools and other items, in order to plant and nurture that promise. Our fields need to be prepared for the rain.

Before I came into Revive Nations or knew my Spiritual Parents, all I knew was to pray and pray. But now the Lord is teaching me to not just pray, but have Dominion with faith. My understanding has increased. Now I know who I am and whose I am, and knowing that the one who promised things to me is able to full-fill it. So, basically “Trust and believe the promise even if you can’t see the results. You jump into it and do it with radical faith and surrender to His will and do things just like the song “Where You go I go what You say I say God….. What you pray I Pray” Becoming One with Him.

And yet another way the Lord is teaching me to have this kind of radical faith is by meditating the Word of God and maintaining a journal where I write down two things: 1) All the promises i.e. the Spoken Word that I have personally received from a Prophet or my Spiritual Parents or a mentor. 2) The written Word of God or promises I received in my quiet time with God or during Church services.

Every time you pray, take these promises before God and storm the heaven until the spiritual and the natural worlds collide. Until the Word of God becomes a reality in your life.
